About

Receding light is hard to see. The delay is distance perceived — a space between looking and seeing — is where I choose to work. I photograph the ordinary world: its hallways, back roads, and the space between mo and ment - a capsule of infinite space and the residue of proximity and presence. The artist and artwork as found, constructed, and calibrated with the preconceived [order] and the evolutionary construct called change [chaos]. Darkness does not equate to mood. It is method; a discourse of philosophical pursuits and the tangibility of existence, inhabiting a world at the edge of perception. Not gone - calibrated.
Alejandro graduated from Parsons School of Design with an MFA in Photography. Before that he carried mail in Denver, played soccer seriously, and serves as a US Green Beret. From Denver, residing in Brooklyn. Strong opinions on green chile enchiladas. The work is not
separate— it's the address.
